PERSONAL & EDUCATION
Level 2 Award in CitizenAID
The Level 2 Award in CitizenAID is a regulated qualification designed to teach members of the public life-saving skills for use in the event of a deliberate multiple casualty incident.
Based on the CitizenAID Pocket Guide and Phone App, this 3 hour qualification will teach Learners how to react safely, pass on effective messages to the emergency services, prioritise the injured and give life-saving first aid in these extreme situations.
The Level 2 Award in CitizenAid qualification has been developed for all members of the public who wish to learn valuable life-saving skills and techniques for use in the event of a shooting, stabbing, bombing or other deliberate incident.
The course covers a variety of topics, including: prioritising multiple casualties, dealing with an unresponsive casualty who is breathing, and controlling severe external bleeding.
Level 3 Award in Education and Training
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare them for teaching in a wide range of contexts.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification has been specifically designed to be an introduction to teaching for those who work or would like to work in the further education and skills sector for, e.g. Further Education (FE) Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities.
Over a 5 day period, Learners will build an understanding of the specific roles and responsibilities related to planning and delivering inclusive training sessions. Topics covered include: maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment, relationships between teachers and other teaching professionals, assessing Learners and providing constructive and developmental feedback. Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification allows Learners to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to effectively perform the role of an Assessor in a wide range of contexts.
The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement has been specifically designed for those who need to:
Assess occupational competence in the work environment
and
Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding outside the work environment i.e. training setting
Transferable to any sector that the Learner has occupational competence in, this qualification provides a national benchmark for best practice in assessing.
Successful Learners will leave with the skills required to assess competency based qualifications such as NVQs as well as vocational qualifications such as first aid.

This regulated and nationally recognised qualification allows Trainee assessor’s to further develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of assessing Learners in a vocational setting e.g. classroom environment.
The Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement has been specifically designed for those who wish to undertake qualification assessment of vocationally related qualifications for which they are occupationally competent to deliver/assess. This may include individuals who are currently working in a mentoring, teaching or training capacity.

The Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment has been specifically designed for those who wish to undertake qualification assessment, of occupational competence, in a work environment. This qualification is also suitable for Trainee Assessors who currently work in a mentoring/teaching/training environment and wish to further develop their knowledge and skills in competence based assessment.
During this comprehensive course, Learners will cover a variety of topics including the principles and practices of assessment, how to assess competence based skills and how to assess occupational competence in the workplace. Qualification Specification
Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically designed to provide Trainee Assessors with the knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of assessment.
The Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment is ideal for those who are looking for an introduction to the principles and practices of qualification assessment. This qualification may also be suitable for those who are currently performing the role of Assessor for certain vocationally related qualifications (please check the suitability of these qualifications with Qualsafe Awards).
Trainee Assessors may include individuals who currently work in a mentoring/teaching/training capacity and wish to further develop their knowledge and skills of assessment.
Throughout the duration of this course, Learners will develop the knowledge and understanding of assessment.
